What is a raffle generator?
A raffle generator randomly selects one or more winners from a pool of entries replacing the physical act of drawing names from a hat. Unlike simple spinner apps, a proper raffle generator creates a verifiable public record of the draw so every participant can confirm the result was fair without trusting a screenshot. This matters most for nonprofits, regulated charitable gaming events, and any draw where transparency is expected. This tool handles the winner selection only. If you need to sell tickets online and manage a full fundraising raffle, you need a complete raffle platform we can point you to the right one below.
How It Works

Draw in three steps. Prove it in one link.

The part that separates this from every basic spinner app is what happens after the draw a public, verifiable record anyone can check.

1

Paste your entries

Type names or ticket numbers directly, or copy a column from Excel and paste it in. One entry per line. No formatting required.
2

Pick your draw mode

Name draw, ticket number range, multi-prize with custom labels, or the Queen of Hearts card draw. Choose whichever matches your raffle format.
3

Draw and share the result

Hit draw. Your winner appears instantly with a unique verifiable ID. Share the link participants can inspect the draw record themselves.

About This Tool

We've been running online raffles since before most fundraising platforms existed.

The Chance2Win Team built the first online raffle ticket generator in 2005. Back then, "raffle ticket generator" wasn't even a search term β€” because nothing like it existed yet. We wrote the software that invented it. Since then, we've helped thousands of nonprofits run raffles of every kind traditional draws, basket raffles, Queen of Hearts progressives, duck races. We built this free draw tool because the question we hear most often is: "How do we prove the draw was fair?" The verifiable draw ID is the answer. It's not a marketing feature. It's the thing that keeps your raffle from becoming a dispute.

Four Draw Modes

One tool. Every raffle format you actually run.

Most draw tools only handle names in a list. We built four modes because real raffles come in more shapes than that.

Name Draw

Paste any size list a handful of names or a spreadsheet column with thousands of entries. Choose how many winners to draw and whether each person can win more than once.

Ticket Number Draw

Enter the range of ticket numbers you sold say, 1 through 500 and draw one or more winning numbers. No list needed. Instant results with the full range documented.

Multi-Prize Draw

Draw a separate winner for each prize tier in a single session. Label your prizes "Grand Prize: Weekend Getaway," "2nd: Gift Card" and the tool assigns one unique winner per prize.

Queen of Hearts Card Draw

A full 54-card deck rendered on screen. Reveal cards one at a time by clicking, or draw randomly. The Queen of Hearts triggers a winner animation. For participants who are selecting a card never betting on one.

Know the Difference

This tool draws your winner. A platform sells your tickets.

If you already have your list of entries and just need a fair, verifiable draw, this tool is all you need. Use it for free, share the result link, move on. If you need to sell tickets to the public online, in person, or both collect payments, send digital tickets by email, and then draw from the resulting entry pool, you need a complete raffle platform. That is a different product entirely. The Chance2Win platform handles the whole operation for nonprofits: ticket sales, payment processing (Stripe, Square, or Authorize.net), digital ticket delivery, entry management, and the final draw. It also handles formats like basket raffles, Queen of Hearts, and duck races that most platforms cannot. WPRaffle does the same thing as a self-hosted WordPress plugin if your organization manages its own site. Not sure which path is right for you? Call us at (813) 699-9325 we answer the phone.
Common Questions

Answers from people who have run more raffles than they can count.

Yes completely. No signup, no tips, no upsell at the point of use. We built this tool because we wanted nonprofit organizers to have a trustworthy free draw tool that doesn't trick them into paying something. If you eventually decide you need a full platform, we can talk about that separately. The tool itself will always be free.
Every draw uses crypto.getRandomValues()Β the same cryptographic randomness standard used in security applications and encryption. This is meaningfully different from Math.random(), which most free tools use and which has known statistical patterns. Beyond the randomness source, every result generates a public verify URL where anyone can inspect the entry count, the timestamp, and the random seed independent confirmation that the draw happened as described.
No. Your entries are processed in your browser and never sent to our servers in readable form. When a draw is logged for verification purposes, we record a hash of the entry list a mathematical fingerprint not the actual names or ticket numbers. This lets us confirm "247 entries were in this draw" without storing anyone's personal information.
The Card Draw mode lets you reveal cards from a shuffled 54-card deck useful for a simple weekly reveal. For a real ongoing Queen of Hearts raffle where participants purchase tickets and select cards over multiple weeks with a growing jackpot, you need a managed platform. Chance2Win's Queen of Hearts tool handles automated weekly drawings, progressive jackpots, full ticket sales, and the weekly reveal automatically. Visit onlinequeenofhearts.com for that. Important: participants always select a card never "bet on" one. That distinction matters legally in most states.
Every draw this tool performs creates a unique ID formatted like C2W-A3F7E219C04B8D1A and a public URL at rafflegenerator.com/verify/[id]. Anyone with that link can see the number of entries in the draw, the timestamp, the random seed, and the winning result. This is the difference between "trust us, we drew fairly" and actually proving it. For regulated charitable gaming, some states require documentation of draw procedures the verify link provides exactly that kind of record.
Raffle and charitable gaming laws vary significantly by state, and we are not lawyers this is not legal advice. Generally, about 45 US states allow online raffles for 501(c)(3) nonprofits with various requirements. Chance2Win does not operate in Utah (which prohibits fundraising raffles) or Hawaii (which prohibits paid raffles). For a state-by-state breakdown, see our raffle laws by state guide. When in doubt, check with your state's gaming or charitable organization regulator, or call us and we can point you in the right direction.
The Chance2Win Team, based in Apollo Beach, Florida. We built the first online raffle ticket generator in 2005 before the phrase even existed as a search term. Over the past 20 years we have helped thousands of nonprofits run raffles through our Chance2Win managed platform and WPRaffle WordPress plugin. We built this free draw tool as a natural extension of that work. If you have questions about any of it, call us at (813) 699-9325Β we answer.
